Week of 9/13 - 9/18

Over the next few weeks, we will be talking through the Fruits of the Spirit and how the Bible teaches us that when we accept Christ as our savior, we receive His Spirit. There are 9 fruits of the spirit that our lives should reflect: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Commentary: Peace is a fruit of the Spirit. Being at peace means that we don’t have to be afraid. You can have peace if you trust in God when times are hard.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding! Help me to remember that You are in control of everything. Please help me to be a giver of Your peace to those around me who might be feeling anxious and worried. It is in Your name we pray, Amen.
